There isn’t a bigger thieving hack on the web today than Matt Drudge of the Drudge report, who last week reported like it was his story that Gas would be under a $1.

I’m sorry Mr. Hack.. You were not the one to start this decline in gas prices. You are not the architect of this amazing accomplishment. You have been weighed, you have been measured and you sir, have been found lacking.

The statement, “Gas will be one dollar by March of 2009″ was made during an episode of SomaCow.

At the time, the price of gas in Orlando was around four dollars per gallon and rising. There was a report that gas was rising in price based on the rumors that gas would rise in price. We countered with a stronger wumor that gas would be One dollar per gallon by March of 2009.

He can try in his reclusive world to pat himself on the back. But we know the truth and most of all he knows it too. He knows that his website for weeks fueled the rise in gas prices with is flashing sirens

and huge bold print.
