The Hills have ayes…

Written by ekg on July 17, 2008 – 4:37 pm -

Rumors have been swirling that Obama,Dean and Pelosi are trying to negotiate Hillary’s name off of the ballot at the Convention next month. It seems they don’t mind her being on the ballot as long as it’s as a symbolic, roll-call gesture . They want her name on the ballot, they just don’t want placed on the ballot for nomination.

Neither Obama nor Hillary won enough votes to secure the nomination. Obama may have 390 more of them if all the super delegates who pledged to him actually vote for him at the convention. But with his shine getting a little a duller and with 18 million voters voting for Hillary, having her name as a nominee on the ballot and having to listen to all her delegate vote for her would make his ass pucker. All it would take is for her to have prime placement in the speeches and just knock it out of the park. The amount of delegates she has and the problems with his incessant flip-flopping could remind the delegates that she really does have a damn good chance of beating McCain. If she, or Bill were to remind them that her poll numbers against McCain were better than the 46% he and Obama share now…. Who knows what could happen and that’s why he needs to get her of the nominating ballot.

So what can he do about that? Well he can use his political influence to make sure that she is taken off the ballot as a nominee and placed there just as his symbolic 2nd. He’s done this before. Obama only likes to win when he’s uncontested. When Alice Palmer, the former state senator who picked Obama to be her successor back in the mid-90s wanted back on the ticket, he had her kicked off. The problem with Hillary is that there is no legal reason to have her bumped off the ballot. More than that though, if her voters aren’t allowed to vote for her then it’s game on and party unity my ass.

It would be quite embarrassing to Obama if there was a open-air-stadium-like response to Hillary getting on stage and giving a blow-out speech.. This is his shining moment and Hillary can’t be allowed to outshine him once again. But at the same time, Obama wants to project a ‘party-unity’ that just isn’t there. In order to keep that faux-appearance, Hillary just can’t be on the ballot and steal the sunshine from his over-whelming, ever engorging ego. It would ruin his grand plan to take over the world.

Don’t think he has a plan?

Ha-ha Ha-ha Ha-ha

He’s going to give his outdoor stadium speech on the 45th anniversary of MLK “I have a dream” speech while being the 1st nominee to give an outdoor speech since JFK did it in 1960. Yeah, someone is a little full of himself huh?

Here’s the thing. I don’t really give a rat’s ass if it’s embarrassing to Barack Obama. His people screamed like little bitches that Michigan shouldn’t count because he wasn’t on the ballot when they are the ones who took him off. So could you imagine the screaming and race-crying if there was a plan in the mix to get him placed on the ballot as a token 2nd choice? I think Motley Crue, The beatles and Charles Manson had a prediction for that scenario called “Helter Skelter”

This Manson predicted scenario is really just one wrong move from happening as it is. If the press caves, if Obama misteps in such a way that it just can’t be ingored we might have to call Charlie “profit” instead of whack-o-nut. But it would take alot to make the press go against the messiah I mean have you read a story on Obama? The other day there was a story that comics can’t even make fun of him, in that story the writer says

“But there has been little humor about Obama: about his age, his speaking ability, his intelligence, his family, his physique”

Is he Adonis or something? Maybe he’s Jesus? Or maybe he’s the reincarnation of Budda himself .

Jon Stewart tried to make fun of him, but met resistance from the audience. He had to tell them “You know, you’re allowed to laugh at him.”

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm ….Did Jim Jones’ followers ever laugh at him?

Every week I decide I am going to have to swallow my hatred and get on the ball and get the bad stuff out about McCain. Because there really is a lot of stuff out there….. I mean look at this response to a question about his surrogate saying that some health insurance will pay for viagra and not birth control and women would like to have the choice (response at about 5:00).

Could you imaging him being asked a really important question? HA!

Anyway, every week I want to change. I hope that I can finally sit down and do something positive about Barack or if not positive then something about McCain. But every week Barack tweaks my ire with something else and I completely forget about the crazy old man that might just be our next president and I shouldn’t.

This man is just as dangerous and the other one.

How in the hell did we get these 2 “unelectables in a sane year” as our only 2 choices?

Three words

George W Bush.

Yes, that’s right. What kind of liberal rant would this be without putting some kind of blame on Bush? But it’s true. The DNC figured that no matter what and no matter who, they had this election in the bag. The republicans could clone Ronald Reagan and it wouldn’t matter. George Bush fucked this country up so bad and didn’t give one shit about it that anyone running as a (D) would win.

Look say what would want, but even McCain knows this and is doing everything in his power to avoid being linked to Bush.

So the DNC is all it’s wisdom gave us…. No forced upon us.. A liberals wet-dream. No the wet-dream isn’t a woman… No-no… the true liberal wet dream is a good looking black man. Harold Ford jr would have been my choice, but his skeletons have already been vetted out so a no name senator would have do. Hopefully he could get the nomination and election before they were weeded out by the press. But if not, what to do?

Then, a “Karl Rove like” idea was formed.

Anytime anyone dissed this candidate, scream racism.( Which as you know is the liberal kryptonite.) Scream it at every charge and eventually no one will make any more charges and if the do they can be put off as people who just don’t like blacks.

Howard Dean may not have known about Obama deciding to do the open-air stadium rapture until he saw it on the news, but he damn sure knows his liberals.

The problem is liberals don’t just sit silent and fall in with the party-line because the party wants them to. But to silence them forever Dean and his subordinates can only do one more thing to ensure the nomination goes to the exalted one. Get Hillary off the ballot at the convention.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I hope The Denver Group accomplishes it’s goal. Because Hillary may be an old school politician, but she is still better and saner than anyone else out there. The question is though, are more and more people with the power to do something about it paying attention?

Now she’s unpatriotic…

Written by ekg on May 27, 2008 – 3:05 pm -

Are fucking kidding me? While scanning the comments on this article I came across this gem…

This is a very good post. Sen. Clinton has demonstrated a willful disregard for the majority of voters who have chosen her opponent.

Are you kidding me?

She’s showing willful disregard for the majority of voters by staying in the race… So what in the hell is Obama doing by staying in the race? He’s not leading with 100%, so is he showing willful disregard to the voters who don’t want him as the nominee?

How absolutely low and disgusting can you be to tell a candidate that even though the numbers show she is not losing everywhere and where she is trailing, it’s not by much. In fact the polls have Hillary single-handedly winning the electoral votes, but she’s are hurting the people who voted against her. How do you tell her that she should leave the race because the people that voted against her don’t like her being in the race and the people that voted against her are getting angry and she’s just being mean to them?

What the fuck kind of country is this anyway? Are you kidding me? I guess she should tell the 60% of the voters in WV and KY to go piss up a rope because she doesn’t want to hurt the feeling of the 30% that voted for her opponent.

She has been called insane and delusional for staying in the race by the same people telling her to get out because she’s disenfranchising the voters who didn’t vote for her. WTF? She would only be delusional and insane if she said “Oh my, you’re right… what was I thinking? I need to step aside because the people that didn’t vote for me want me to”

Is that not the most insane reason for someone to get out of a race??

Come one people. You can’t tell someone to get out a race because her distracters want her to. You can’t tell someone to get out of race because it’s almost finished so why bother going all the way. You can’t tell someone this who is repeatedly beating the ass of the ‘Cinderella’ candidate. If the majority of the people wanted Obama, then why is she still beating him by huge, HUGE numbers or only losing to him by >1-3%? They are virtually tied and yet she must be insane to stay in the race?

The fact of the matter is Obama was winning but now he is not. If she were putting up these kinds of numbers right after Iowa it would be ‘Obama who?’ The other fact is if the super delegates, governors, senators and other big political types were to be forced to vote who their constituency picked she’d have the delegate vote locked up.

The last simple fact is that the only way Obama can win is if she steps out. He doesn’t have the numbers without her giving them to him.

Bill Clinton is right. Never has a candidate been treated so disrespectfully. Never in the history of any contest has someone been ridiculed daily for not getting out of the contest because the people who don’t want her to win want her out. It is completely absurd that this really is a reason being touted by the DNC and Obama’s press corp. Bill nailed it on the head when he said that they want her out before they have to decide what to do with FL and MI. That’s what all this boils down to. If she isn’t in the race they don’t have to decide what to do with her wins in Fl and MI. The DNC isn’t stupid. They can’t seat a nominee without allowing these two states to vote. Because if they did a Democrat would never win those states again. So the only thing to do is throw every single reason that Howard Dean can come up with at Hillary as to why she should step away from the race.

How disgusting.

It’s not Hillary’s campaign that will make me stay at home this November. It’s the campaign by the DNC and Barrack Obama against her even being in the race that will ‘disenfranchise me’.

Shame on the white and black men’s club who shat this pile of stink out when they came up with these rules and now want to wipe the mess off on her head because she made them step in it.

Discussion.

it rubs the lotion on its skin….

Written by ekg on May 25, 2008 – 7:25 pm -

I am a Drudge reader. I don’t share his politics, I think he’s dangerous to Hollywood movies and over all I think he’s a nut. But he’s a master at getting the scoop and his site lays out everything in a nice, neat, easy to read package.

Today though, I think something in him broke.

He really can’t be this incensed. He really can’t think this is newsworthy enough to take up the entire computer screen. Not even the tsunami that killed 500.000 people got that much space. The Iraq war didn’t get that much space. Saddam Hussien’s execution and. Benazir Bhutto’s shocking assassination didn’t get that much space. But Hillary Clinton referencing RFK’s assassination warrants this much ‘shock and awe’?

Does it really? This the news I should take the most interest in?

-After weeks Myanmar is finally allowing AID groups to come in and help.
-Tornado’s tear through Kansas
-Court rules the FDLS had their kids stolen from them by the state of Texas

But the news that I need to be aware of is that Hillary Clinton said something stupid.

I understand Chris Matthews walking around with a boner when this story broke. He hates Clinton and anything she says he takes to a whole new level of bizarre. I expect that. Just as I expect Sean Hannity to excuse every mistake the Bush Administration makes. And to be honest, I expected it a little from Matt Drudge. But this? This is just sick.

I guess I’m supposed to be mad at her or something. I still haven’t figured out what the reaction is supposed to be. She has been hounded and hounded over staying in the race and she said something stupid. It was a valid, but stupid, point. What it wasn’t was a code to get Jason Bourne to take action.

I’ve been told that the reason I should be mad is that people are already afraid that he’ll be assassinated. What!? If you and he are that afraid then maybe he needs to step down and go home because this isn’t little league, this is the office of the President of the United States and unfortunately crazy people out there have shot at them before. But guess what, none those presidents were black, so maybe he has nothing to worry about.

Did it ever occur to the Obama “Lets take this and push it out of control by saying it’s racial” spin room that the same people who don’t want a black man as president might not want a woman either? Gee, I don’t know when the last black leader was assassinated, but I do know when the last woman leader was.

The media is not supposed to influence people with their personal agenda’s. The media is supposed to inform people about what is going on in the world around them. The Op-Ed pages are supposed to be where the personal opinions and influences goes. If this explosion of Hillary-Hate has done anything it’s shown me that Drudge isn’t media. He isn’t the news-mogul I always thought he was and even though I didn’t share his beliefs I still respected. I still respect him and I will still read his page, but from now on the blinders are off and I see that he is just the print version of Andy Rooney. Or the un-funny version of Bill Maher’s “New Rules”. That realization makes me sad because now I have to find another news source, one that isn’t trying to incense me over a stupid remark from one candidate and trying to hide from me the preaching and teachings from the other candidates past. I’m an informed adult and as such I want to read the news and make my own decision. I do not want a recluse deciding for me what is and isn’t important.

The funny thing about all of this. Sites like TMZ and Dlisted are looked down upon because the sell gossip. But you know what, they don’t have an agenda and they don’t spin it. When Brittany breaks down, they report it. They don’t twist it or skewer it. They just give it to you raw. Yet they are looked upon as something lower than real media. I guess that shows you where the American media is at. News isn’t the raw ugly truth anymore, it what Matt Drudge’s opinion says it is.

calling all Obama-nations.

Written by ekg on May 11, 2008 – 9:00 am -

So I figured this would be a funny way to look at Barrack.. I was inspired by lilmike saying he was happy to sit on info about Barrack until after he gets the nomination. So I said to myself, “Self! Lets see what’s out there on this Jr. Senator that noone really knows anything about.”

oh dear god… why did I do that?

I’m scared of this man now..

1st off….. an opinion piece from CBS.Com

The Bad Company Of Barack Obama
National Review Online: The Senator’s “Change” Would Radically Alter This Country

Why is Barack Obama so comfortable around people who so despise America and its allies? Maybe it’s because they’re so comfortable around him.

He presents as the transcendent agent of “change.” Sounds platitudinous, but it’s really quite strategically vaporous. Sen. Obama is loath to get into the details of how we should change, and, as the media’s Chosen One, he hasn’t had to.

But he’s not, as some hopefully dismiss him, a charismatic lightweight with a gift for sparkling the same old vapid cant. Judging from the company he chooses to keep, Obama’s change would radically alter this country. He eschews detail because most Americans don’t believe we’re a racist, heartless, imperialist cesspool of exploitation. The details would be disqualifying.

MICHELLE
So, instead, we get glimpses. The most profound influence in his life, his wife Michelle, is notoriously less circumspect than her careful husband about where she’s coming from. Her college thesis, which Princeton tried to keep under lock and key, testifies to a race-obsessed worldview. She may have refined it, but she’s never grown out of it.

After four years at one of America’s most esteemed academic institutions, Michelle recoiled at the thought of “further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant.” That the sky has been the limit for her, that she has managed to ride the “periphery” from Princeton to Harvard Law School, to one of the country’s top law firms, and to a plethora of prestigious institutional positions, has not much altered her perspective. Through the windows of her mansion on Chicago’s south side, American society still appears as a caste system.

The United States, she says, is “just downright mean.” Never, prior to her husband’s presidential run, had she had a reason to feel proud of it, she told a campaign throng. But by last November, with Barack’s pursuit of the brass ring catching momentum, she suddenly got plenty proud. And confident: so much so that she was moved to tell MSNBC, “Black America will wake up and get it” — unite and carry him over the finish line.–

Michelle Obama scares the hell out of me. I have known black women with her attitude. Nothing can ever change what was done to a black man/woman/child in history. Nothing can ever be explained, forgiven or forgotten. They are fiercely proud of the hate that is shown to them, or the hate that they think is shown to them. Even when shown nothing but opportunity and kindness by whites, they will mock them behind their backs. . They will refer to themselves as “niggers’, not in the gangsta rap ’nigga’ form but in the hated racial form of the word. They are the ones who can never ever let slavery or any other black issue go because to do so would invalidate the ideas of the world that they have harbored their entire lives. It would take the power away from their pride. They dare people to do or say things to them that those people normally wouldn’t do. They bait them until they get an overblown, but understood reaction. Then they justify everything by telling themselves that they just knew it, that person hates black people.

If given power, she will be a dangerous woman. I fear her more than I fear Hillary or McCain.

Michelle Obama is Detta Walker.

Another look into Barrack’s past has to include the Rev. Wright. I don’t care if Obamanation thinks this is a dead horse or not. It’s serious and just because today he disavows him doesn’t excuse the 20 year service to this man. The Obama’s had to have believed in what this man was preaching. If they didn’t and stayed in his church, had him marry them and bless their children… then the Obama’s should be condemned for stupidity and feared because they are too naive and gullible and can be swayed by anyone with a pretty voice.

It’s either that or they agreed with The Rev and his teachings…

—Years earlier, the Obamas had gravitated to the baleful Rev. Jeremiah Wright, an unapologetic racist and hard Left firebrand. They were comfortable with him — and he with them.

By the senator’s own account, Wright is the inspiration for his memoir, The Audacity of Hope — the title is cribbed from a Wright sermon (“The Audacity to Hope”). For Michelle, who had written that a racial “separationist” would have a better understanding of American blacks than “an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight,” Wright’s Trinity Church mission statement had to resonate, right from its opening declaration:

Rev. Wright inspired his congregation – of which the Obamas were 20-year members — with “black liberation theology.” The doctrine is itself the inspiration of James Hal Cone, a professor of “Systematic Theology” at Union Theological Seminary in New York City.

Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community…. Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.

For their part, the Obamas couldn’t get enough of Wright. Barack and Michelle had him marry them. They chose him to baptize their children, who were routinely exposed to Wright’s race-baiting bombast.

Which is it Obamanation? Is Barrack stupid or just hate-filled? You only have those two choices.

I think if you keep looking into the Obama’s and the people they associate with it’s pretty easy to see that that are far from stupid. Look at these associates

—BILL AYERS AND BERNADINE DOHRN
With this as background, is it really all that startling that Sen. Obama enjoys a friendly relationship with Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, a pair of terrorists?

I want to be clear here: Not terrorist sympathizers. Terrorists.

The mainstream media, in their zeal to elect a Democrat, are assiduously airbrushing Ayers: “an aging lefty with a foolish past,” as the Chicago Sun-Times has so delicately put it. In fact, it is the press that is rife with foolish, aging lefties. Ayers, by contrast, is an unapologetic terrorist with a savage past – one who beat the system he so reviles when, after his years of fugitivity, terrorism charges were dropped due to government surveillance violations. He’s “guilty as sin,” by his own concession, but “free as a bird.”

Ayers didn’t just carry a sign outside the Pentagon on May 19, 1972. He bombed it. As his memoir gleefully recalled, “Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon. The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.”

Ayers and Dohrn have done the actual dirty work of terror, while Jeremiah Wright draws the line at waving pom-poms. But the prism through which they assay the dirty work is precisely the same: America has it coming.

For them, that makes all the difference. It’s not terror, just chickens coming home to roost. “Terrorists destroy randomly,” Ayers rationalizes with nauseating arrogance, “while our actions bore … the precise stamp of a cut diamond. Terrorists intimidate, while we aimed only to educate.” Right. As her companion Discover the Networks profile illustrates, Dohrn now goes even further: insisting their bombings weren’t terrorist acts at all: “We rejected terrorism. We were careful not to hurt anybody.”

It was at the Chicago home of Ayers and Dohrn that Obama, then an up-and-coming “community organizer,” had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World — where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working “only to educate” — both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers.

Barack Obama made a joint appearance with Bill Ayers in 1997 at a University of Chicago panel on the outrage of treating juvenile criminals as if they were, well, criminals. Obama apologists say, “So what? People appear with other people all the time.” Nice try. This panel was orchestrated by none other than Michelle Obama, then an Associate Dean of Student Services. Ayers didn’t happen to be there — he was invited by the Obamas to educate students on the question before the house: “Should a Child Ever Be Called a ‘Super Predator?’”—

There is more…. There is so much more. McCain doesn’t have to go into ‘attack’ mode, there are so many others out there that will do it for him. Obamanation will say he barely knew Ayers. If that’s the case then why stand on his steps and start your political career? Were there no other steps in Chicago available that day?

Obamanation will say that it means nothing that Ayers was at the same appearance as Barrack and Michelle and they is right. Just like it really didn’t mean anything that John Kerry was at a speech at the same time Jane Fonda was. The difference is that Michelle Obama invited Ayers. And yet, Barrack doesn’t know him?

Which is it Obamanation? Is he gullible and stupid? Or is he lying?

What is wrong with us today? Is it that we just have to have a black man.. and any black man will do? I know dozens of white girls who feel this way. I watch every day as they talk about having more and more babies with this guy and that guy. “This” guy and “That” guy already have 2,3, and 4 kids with different women. Like the adopted child is the ‘en vogue’ thing in Hollywood, the black male is ‘in’ when it comes to young white men and women.

I say Good! Great! I’m all for it. In fact I don’t care what color anyone is. I am thoroughly sick and tired of race..I care more about who a person is and how they act and what they are capable of. Color has never been an issue with me. But what is not Good! What is not Great is the ‘any black man will do’ attitude of today.

Barrack Obama is the candidate of Hope. But what is his hope? Is it what he was preached to for 20 years? The hope that God will destroy America and her whites? Is it the hope of his friends Ayers and Dohrn, that America will finally get what’s coming to her?

Look, Hillary is far from being a Saint. The dead-list that follows in her wake is a little creepy. But we know what we are going to get with her. McCain is a little unstable and maybe we don’t know everything about him either. But we know what we’ll get with him. Barrack Obama is the question mark. He is the unknown. And in order to get to know him we can get to know who he has in his life. That is always a good indication of what kind a person someone is. Take a look at Barrack’s friends and pastors and ask yourself, would you be their friends? Would you sit in that church and listen to that services for 2 entire decades? Would you invite that man to speak at your family dinners or to teach your children?

Yes, America is ready for a black man to lead her.. But NO! any black man won’t do… Think about it. He his either gullible, naïve and borderline stupid for his choice in who invites to talk or who he hang around with. Or he’s one of them and believes in what they do. I don’t know which is more dangerous…do you? If you do know then tell me please. Because the way it’s looking this black man will be the one we get and I’d really like to know what exactly we’re getting.

btw, I found a clip on youtube that will be one of the 1st ’swift-boat’ ads against Barrack..In it even he admits he not experienced enough for the job.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gexyfVpFMU

sorry, but you’ll have to c/p that yourself…. this new wordpress is horrible when it comes to links, quotes, colors…grrrr

Headlines, Comments and Essay, Oh my.

Written by ekg on April 27, 2008 – 9:00 am -

Headlines over the last couple weeks with some comments after.

–Pope Benedict XVI arrives–

He gave a speech while at the White House, afterwards our brilliant President told him “Awesome Speech”

Really….? You’re President of the United States, Leader of the last Super Power and you’re going to tell the Pope, leader of the Catholic Church “Awesome Speech”
Yeah, I gotta tell ya… I’m a little embarrassed.

This next one is interesting,

–EARTHQUAKE: 5.2 MAG SHAKES ILLINOS, INDIANA, MISSOURI, KENTUCKY–

An earthquake in Kentucky and Illinos? During the same time as the Pope’s visit? Is this God’s way of telling him “Awesome Speech”?

These next two make me fear for my children.

–UK Brown Says World owes Bush ‘huge debt of Gratitude’–

Uh, huh? What? A huge debt of what did you say? Gratitude? Did he say this with a straight face? Did the people he said it in front of control their laugher? And more importantly, did the media photogs get a pic of Gordon Brown‘s, Prime Minister of the UK, lips firmly affixed to George Bush’s ass?

–Judge: Harry Potter is gibberish.

JK Rowling is suing a fan because he is stealing her work and putting his name on it and publishing it. She’s taken her suit to the US courts and the Judge hearing had this to say about the 1st Harry Potter book…and I quote,
.
“I found it extremely complex,”

Harry Potter, a children’s book, is too extremely complex for a United States District Judge to read to his grandchildren. Oh Dear Jesus help me. .. Help my children to have a better, safer and smarter world.

Yes, I am a lot embarrassed.

–Pentagon paid $1.7 million to firms of polygamy bosses–

Another story of weird sex and the Republicans. I’m really not surprised by this. Btw what exactly was Cheney doing in Utah when he was on his ‘secret mission’ last year and the year before?

–Al Qaeda plans Baghdad hits, says U.S.–

That one is interesting also, especially when you read the next headline

–Opening soon in Baghdad: Largest U.S. embassy in the world with restaurants, 619 apartments–

Someone needs to alert Bush and Co. Not in an NIE or anything like that because we know that doesn’t work. Maybe a pretty banner plane? Because it seems that we have a…

–The $474 million facility is the largest U.S. embassy in the world, with 619 apartments for staffers as well as restaurants, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, volleyball court, and indoor Olympic-size swimming pool.–

In the same place where we say Al Qeada is planning a hit. Hey, don’t blame me. I told you our President was Brilliant.

I’m at a loss with this next one. I will never be able to prove it, but I’m sure Michelle Obama has a hand in it.

–Top House Democrat denounces Clinton campaign tactics
“Scurrilous” and “disingenuous” were among the words a top Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives used on Thursday to describe Hillary Clinton’s campaign tactics in her bid to defeat Barack Obama for their party’s presidential nomination.
House Democratic Whip James Clyburn, of South Carolina and the highest ranking black in Congress, also said he has heard speculation that Clinton is staying in the race only to try to derail Obama and pave the way for her to make another White House run in 2012.

What is he trying to say?

“I heard it on the (House) floor today, which is telling me there are African Americans who have reached the decision that the Clintons know that she can’t win this. But they’re hell-bound to make it impossible for Obama to win”

Oh….. Ok…. I see…

ARE YOU FUCK………….ahem……. Are you fucking kidding me? Now Michelle Obama has her minions starting rumors that Hill is only in it because she wants to make sure Obama doesn’t win.

Isn’t that the point? Isn’t the point of her campaign to stay in it so she can win and not the next guy?

Unfortunately the racial message on this little bullshit remark can’t be missed. Hillary is staying the race because she hates black people.

Michelle Obama is bordering on “Rove-territory’ here with starting this story. …..Hillary staying in the race so she or McCain can win…. Oh my fucking God!

–Wright’s defense
Mr. Wright, who has acted as Mr. Obama’s spiritual mentor and retired in February as pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, said that he has never heard Mr. Obama repeat any of his controversial statements.

“Absolutely not,” Mr. Wright said. “I don’t talk to him about politics. And so he had a political event, he goes out as a politician and says what he has to say as a politician. I continue to be a pastor who speaks to the people of God about the things of God.”

Again, what are you trying to say?

He’s a politician, I’m a pastor,” he said. “We speak to two different audiences. And he says what he has to say as a politician. I say what I have to say as a pastor. But they’re two different worlds.”

What the hell does that mean? Obama has to say what he says because he is a politician? Does this instill “Hope” in people? The pastor of your anointed leader, the man who married him, blessed his children and for 20 years advised him spiritually, says that your “golden boy’ says what he has to because he is a politician.

What does that mean? That Obama has heard Wrights hatred? Or that Obama agrees with Wright’s racism but can’t admit either one because he is a politician?

I wonder how the media will react to this. Probably like they have reacted to everything. They will ignore it because Hillary is a racist who is staying the race to make sure Obama doesn’t win….. And really that’s the bigger story. The woman who husband did more blacks than any other white President is the real racist, not the guy who sat there for 20 yrs listening to his pastor preach it.

And finally, this isn’t a headline, but it is news to us over here on the coast. Today at the Hess on wickham rd I saw the price of gas go up to $.3.69 a gallon. I was sitting there waiting for the train when I watched them change the price. $3.69 a gallon. What kind of insanity is that? $10 will now get you 2.7 gal of gas… IOW, if you have a 4×4 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition, that will get you 35.1 miles of gas. Which is nowhere.

It’s scary that 5 weeks ago my grocery bill was $125 a week, and last week the same groceries cost me $201. It’s scarier that this isn’t going to get any better any time soon, in fact some annalists are starting to use the “D” word instead of just the ‘recession’ word.

Why? What the hell happened to our country?

And No, it’s not that there is a shortage of food like the media wants you to believe and will fuel until there is a shortage of food.

Last year, or maybe it was the year before, I remember it was summer and there were hurricanes, I sat and watched the price of a barrel of gas go up to $91.I watched as people panicked because the pump prices went up. We all thought then, Oh my God, gas is at $90+ a barrel. This is what scares me, this is what I don’t understand. Back then the price reflection at the pump was almost immediate. You could tell which stores bought their gas before the price jumps because they would always be selling it for way cheaper than the guy across the street who bought his at the current price. Today the gas is just a tiny bit higher than it was that summer. But the price of a barrel has gone up to $117. Where is the off set? What is keeping it at bay and for the love of God, when will it be reflected at the pumps? We can’t take much more, I know that I make an ok living, but I won’t if my grocery bill goes up by $75 every month for the same meager ‘mom food’. I won’t if the same miles I drive this week will cost me triple at the pump next week. I won’t when summer comes along in full tilt and FPL has to raise their rates again and the same power that I used last year costs me $100 more this year. Everything is going up except the finances of normal people. Those are staying the same and that would be ok if everything stayed the same, but since it’s not, normal middle class working families like mine are going to be hurting really bad.
Can McCain fix this? Hell no, he’s Bush the 3rd.
Can Obama? Not a chance. He’s all bark and no bite, even his pastor says he’s just talking like a politician.
Can Hilary? Not even on her best day. Even though she is the only one who even has shot, not on her best day. This mess will be around our shoulders for a decade or more. That is the legacy the current President left us.

$3.69+ for a gallon of gas. We were going to go to the movies tonight. But after gas to get there, inflated movie prices at the cinema world, popcorn and soda… I think we’ll have to pass. I think I’ll have use that $75 for something that we need instead of something that we want. How will this get any better when I can’t be the only one doing this.

I’ve been called insane and have been mocked. I’ve been told I’m stupid and make even more stupid comments and draw even stupider conclusions. Maybe that’s all it is, maybe it is just me and noone else is affected by any of this in any way. Maybe I’m chicken-bush-hater-little. Maybe I should be thankful because we haven’t been attacked. Who knows, All I know is that I am saving money this week and every week for one big blow out of a night. The truth is out there and on July 25th, I’m going to take my kids to the movies and see it.

But how ridiculous is it that a 2 income family of four has to start saving in April for dinner and movie in July….
