Been a while, kiddies! Actually, other than a few things here and there, Orlando radio has been boring.

John Doe quit last week, although it was difficult to gather that through the incessant lip smacks and broadcast sense of smug self-importance.

Kidding, dude. It sucks you went out like that to the Buggles, but then you went out on your own telling your story and giving it your own heave ho. Kudos.

Next day of course, Russ admits that he hates anything not him related by announcing that he “just don’t get that weekend music crap” and calls John “one of those weekend guys” and audibly shrugged on air. Daniel and Bean did what they do best next, which is drive an almost funny joke far, far into the unhallowed grounds of dead baby jokes.

Wait, forgot about the “no critiquing their work” thing. Whoops. Didn’t mean to make them feel bad.

Anyway we hear that it was a temporary solution that was proposed by Dan Stone to clean up the weekend work and John took it as a permanent thing. Regardless of who did what and why he’s gone, John Doe will be missed. However, it raises one really good question.

If Dan Stone is responsible for what is played and the quality of that and is concerned with how people sound, why isn’t all his own stuff taped? I hear Prophet can erase the fuck out of long drawn out pauses and lengthy “uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmsssssssssss.”

Scott McKenzie is at it again. He brought fourteen Korean prostitutes to a “scared straight” program for at risk young men, and proceeded to bang the Bejesus out of them all to a stunned and captive audience. Then he lit a gravity bong and moonwalked out of the place, telling one kid that he’d “see you and your Mom later so tell her to put some smack in the oven and a turkey on the bathroom counter.”

Anyone still check stopjodyandscott.com? No? Lamest bit ever.
