An NBC Night For Me
By calidave • October 28th, 2007Now that I am a grad Student (I never thought I would ever say that), I am not able to sit at my TV tray much. The Hungry Man dinners are still being served but just in front of textbooks. I was able to catch two good shows. I got to watch The Office and Scrubs
The gang at Dunder-Mifflin is making a commercial. Michael is in charge of getting this commercial off the ground. Michael and Brian butt heads when it comes to this commercial and coming up with ideas. Angela is still the object of desire in the office. Of course Michael was rejected by corporate. Michael is such a tool. The funny thing is Michael’s commercial was pretty good. Pam finds a talent of creating animation. She is not just a secretary after all.
Scrubs is back for their final season. Elliot is about to get married and JD is about to become a father. Snoop Dog is now an attending and finally tells Josephine how he feels Elliot makes a revelation to Turk and Carla that she doesn’t want to get married to Keith
Elliot and Keith break up while JD is worrying about the relationship with Kim. Turk is having problems selecting a candy bar from the vending machine. JD is now a sports fan, or so he says. Elliot and Keith make up and break up again. Scrubs has been on for 7 years. Thank goodness it is on Comedy Central at 7. I will really miss this show.

I am so effing Scrubbed out! We never watched it till recently. The kids set up the DVR to record all the shows and by dusghter is OBSESSED with it. I mean, its a great show, but not over and over aned over!
And I liked Michael’s commercial too. Ryan is such a tool. Am I the only one to notice that Jim seemed a little off with Pam’s interest in animation??
I think they kind of spent their load on all the hour long episodes which i thought were great. To me, this one didn’t seem quite up to par, but still good. Personally, I would like to a little more of Stanley and Creed. I’m hoping that Angela and Dwight will end up back together. I love the new more cracked out Jan and wish she was in every episode. I would also like to see more of Ryan being Michael’s boss now.
One of the funniest scenes to me in a year gone by, was when Jan told Michael that they had lost Ed Truck and Michael said that he would see if he could find his cell number…Jan explained that he had died. Then Michael kept wanting to go into the details of the beheading that took place in the accident. And yes, I noticed that Jim was a little put off by Pam’s devotion to the animation. I’m starting to think that he maybe coming across a little to CLINGY to her in a be careful what you wish for kind of way. I see the humor in Scrubs but it has just never been my thing.
