The Harbinger

MMMmmm… Cider, some hot cider. Haven’t had that in a lonnngg lonnngg time. My favorite is Dickens brand. I like it heated up. Hot Dickens Cider is the absolute best. Our friend Bert agrees. He loves a big glass of it. I remember sitting around with him drinking hot Dickens Cider and him saying “My Big Dickens Cider is absolutely great”. And the rest is history.

Bert, or My Big as he is known to his drinking buddies, has been around group through a few incarnations of the board. He used to be represented by a dancing radio but not has pretty much settled into a label off a case of cider.

Bert has been married to his lovely wife Flori, who many of us have met and partied with over the years. He loves her soooo much, that he secretly drove from Louisiana straight to Camp Chronic for 10 hours to surprise her.

He loves camping, drinking beer, fireworks (lots of dangerous ones), boobs and smoking cigars. His last camper burnt to the ground in his backyard recently, so he and Flori had to buy a new one. This one is a bit more roomier, but they miss the old one.

Bert is a veteran, doing his part to serve our country. He spent time in Korea, which is probably where he got his other love… hot young nekkid asian chicks! Then again, who doesn’t?

While researching stories on Bert, other than his inquisition on newbies, people brought up when he was viciously attacked by a chair at Dom’s. He was calmly sitting there, sipping his beer, when WHAM! the mean old plastic chair threw him to the ground mercilessly! However, being a seasoned military man and drinker, he was able to fend off the attack and preserve his beer.

Bert is a technophile (geek?). He loves collecting electronic equipment. His house even has its own laser system! It is probably good that he gets to work with high-tech equipment in his job as an audio-video operator for conventions throughout the US.
