So I recently switched phones from a Samsing Instinct (read PIECE OF SHIT) to a Blackberry Curve, and I'm quite pleased with the new phone. I went online to add a new contact only to discover that Sprint had DELETED ALL OF MY CONTACTS! Why? I changed phones. The agent to whom I spoke acted as if it were no big deal. "You can synch with an Exchange server". I DON'T HAVE AN EXCHANGE SERVER MORON! Before I switched phones, I specifically asked TWO people at Sprint if I could continue to synch after switching to the Blackberry, and both assured me I could. Even if I can't synch with my phone, WHY WOULD YOU DELETE ALL OF MY CONTACTS??? I'm stunned. As soon as this contract is up, I'm switching carriers. What a friggin joke!
I had Sprint until my phone snapped off at the ear piece. Did some research and turns out my model was recalled. Called Sprint because regardless of a recall I had bought a 2 year plan with a 2 year warrenty.
The people I spoke to acted like it was a joke and said I only bought a 1 year warrenty. Even faxing the papers to them brought a refusal to honor what the merchant wrote. I went back and forth with them for 2 hours and they refused to help.
Then they charged me $295 for not continuing service until the contract expired. I still get letters demanding payment for the last bill and $295.
Sprint can eat a bag of poisoned shit.
