Edy's makes a very dark, rich coffee ice cream.

I was babysitting for a couple of brothers about 5 & 8. We stop at Edy's for a cone. While they are eating their own, they are eye-balling mine. "Miss Franni, can we taste yours?" I tell them that they won't like it. Kids that they were, they whined that they 'would too'. So I take a little pink sample spoon and drop a dollop on their tongues. "BLEEECK!!!" They were disgusted. But that's okay...more coffee ice cream for us adults.  Tongue

      coffe ice cream is an essential inredient in "mississippi mud pie"... crushed oreos blended with softened butter and molded in a spring pan layered with coffee ice cream and fudge topped with whipped cream and crushed walnuts

Tried it once while on the road and getting sleepy, did the trick for a while, but one hell of a crash about two hours later but it was enough to get me to designated lay over, lol. out here they have Cinnamon ice cream, yuck, every one seems to love it, but I don't
