It has something to do with community standards, I think. I know there are areas that spend a lot of time chasing those kinds of jobs out of their listings.
**let me clarify that. Staff have to review and approve all job listings posted by employers before they are posted on line.

Maybe not discriminatory but certainly judgemental.  Actually, I'm not surprised by Wooz's response, community standards in the US are very different from those in the UK.

I agree with "judgmental" in theory and from an ACLU viewpoint but from a frontline worker standpoint, I saw way too many of those chickies who had been or were working as strippers whose lives were completely fucked up because of the line of work. They'd try to get out, try to stay in training, but they'd get suckered back in. I didn't ask too much about the who/how but most of them behaved like battered women.
I had one little spitfire go through Correctional Officer training and go to work and she was funny as hell.

I noticed the same thing when I was in the public sector.  Strippers were poor clients because they were just so disorganized that they couldn't make appointments, and even though they had lots of cash, they were getting public assistance because they spent their money on drugs and other things even more ridiculous.  Stripping is something I regard as step one to an early grave.

Discrimination is NOT against the law.  Being Judgemental isn't either!

Methinks they're pretty muche the same thing....

Discrimination is simply the conscience act of making a "choice".....  It's another word for Choose....choice.

When you base that choice on race, color, creed, sex, yada, yada, yada.......THEN...it becomes against applicable laws when you deny someone something on that basis.

Judgemental.....same deal.
