Gawd I hope you're right. No more enabling, Howard!
Howevuh, I see a reality show in Artie's future.
Was it just alcohol, or more?

Why the fuck would Howard care if he got a DUI? Shit he didn't care when he was a mutha fuckin junkie.
And Artie was filming a reality show pilot about life on the road as a stand up. Don't know if they were finished with it or not?

I think that it's because since Art's not fuckin sedated every day that he is more perky and running his mouth too god damned much and interrupting (ironically just like the Kike does to everyone else, guest and cast). You can tell the Kike's frustrated but is trying to give him time to figure it out. Hook nose told him before he can take time off for rehab anytime he wants.

You can sense that Artie is wearing on Howard and I wouldn't be surprised if he "suspended" Artie or something more serious. Not that Howard really cares, nor does it impact the show, but I think he is just probably tired of the same crap over and over.
I am pretty sure Artie must be a complete psycho.

I'm listening to the replay on 101, Artie on the air and no mention of the DUI so far. (i'm at 40 mins into the show, West Coast Feed)

They don't get into until about two hours in. Anticlimactic.

He says he's innocent. Couldn't go into details because it's still pending case. But he did claim he wasn't drinking or on illegal drugs. He was taking prescribed meds and they are testing him to see if he was under the influence of those meds and if that was the cause of the accident. The charge is suspected dui.

I guess he could have refused the breathalyzer.

I guess so, but if you haven't been drinking, why would you? That's an automatic license suspension, no?

Depends on the state, it's a state law. IN Florida, it's about the same punishment as an actual DUI. In new york? I dunno. Anyways, he said he took the Breathalyzer and passed it, he also said he did the field sobriety test too (alphabet thing) and was fine at that. He claims, it'll all be washed away by the pee test. Ha...
