A friend of mine loves beer, well to be completely accurate most of my friends love beer, but this one in particular takes to bit of a nutty level. Of course she takes pretty much everything to a nutty level so this isn’t out of the ordinary. Anyway a few days ago she showed me a pic and said “I need one like this of beer”, so here it is…

Our pantry is about 36″x40″, the builder put 18″ wire shelves across the back wall. Probably the most inefficient use of the space possible. We have been talking about replacing the wire shelves with something. Today we finally decided to go with some Ivar shelving from Ikea. Now we have a lot more room for our beans…
Oh yeah, we left all the wireshelf hardware in place so we can put them back in if we ever move.

We went out for chinese food tonight. My plate had this decorative carrot. The wife said “you should take a picture of that.” So…I brought it home and took a picture.

The sensor in digital cameras only capture 3 colors. In fact each pixel only captures 1 color. It is a little bit too complex to explain exactly how it works here, but if you are interested to learn more you can look here. Anyway all this creates a weird little quirk…the sensor gets a bit wigged out when there is a lot of red. So if you look close you might notice there is some weirdness with the petals on the top edge of the flower.
