Last night when I was downtown at Lake Eola there was a guy who kept asking me for a handout. I told him over and over that I didn’t have anything for him, but he just kept bugging me. So I told him if he let me take some pics of him I would hook him up…
I was walking along and noticed this sign seemed to be telling me “look here”, I thought it might make for an interesting pic.

For the first time in a while there was no rain this evening, so I went out to see about getting some pictures. There is a little pond in a near by neighborhood that I wanted to check out. Turns out the surrounding trees blocked most of the interesting light, but there was a big white cloud overhead that was reflecting some light back onto the water. Reflecting it in just the right way to get a little bit of light on this guy…
I have been working pretty hard lately, and felt like giving myself a little reward so on the way home from work I picked up a new car. So before it has a chance to get dirty I rolled it into the studio for a quick photo shoot.
I was needing to take a picture…I was stuck for a subject, so I looked around and noticed this cube. Pretty simple subject, but I think it made an OK pic.
I heard that there is some kind of tropical storm heading our way, I think they are calling it Faye. Anyway they say you are supposed to stock up on supplies before the storm comes, so today I picked up some batteries. I am not sure what I am supposed to do with all of them, but I have them…just in case.
I was driving to the library to drop off some DVD’s and thinking about what I could shoot tonight and noticed this little community of shrooms as I was parking. I ran in and dropped off the movies, came back to the car and grabbed the camera. I think a few people walking into the library were giving me the “what the fuck are you doing look”…
