So you see something looks like a jug right, and you figure that a jug would be used to store some kind of liquid or something right. Here’s the thing…this jug is like four feet tall. How the fuck do you use a fucking jug that is four fucking feet tall?
I am not sure why I even took this picture, but for some reason I really like it.
I still think it is pretty fucking neat how you can take a picture of a black sky and the camera sees it as blue. Well I guess it is really blue, there is just not enough light for eyes to see the blue. Anyway I took this shot from the lagoon lookout area over by the Jurassic Park part of the park. Just sat the camera on the railing and snapped the shot.
Some of you may recall a few months ago I was working on getting a picture that “flowed”. At the time I was having some trouble getting something that really visualized the flow. So Saturday I was at City Walk standing on the upper level watching the herd of people making there way to the parking lot and I wondered if I could get an interesting shot…
So you get an assignment to shoot something that is submerged…and make it interesting. What the fuck do you do with that.
Well…how about this?
As most of you know I on occasion take pictures that I am not sure will “work”. This shot was one of those. “This wall has an interesting texture…”, and I snapped a few pics. A lot of pictures like this just get deleted, but I gave this one a second look tonight. The thing is…I am still not sure about it. Sure the texture is pretty interesting, but I am not sure if that is enough. See…I am not sure there is a “subject”, if it just a wall…
or…maybe I am just too tired.
If you have been following along, you know that I have an assignment to shoot a street light. I took one already, and it is decent, but the light itself is kind of boring…so I have been on the lookout for something better. Oh was driving by the new whole foods the other day and noticed they had some funky street lights in front of the store, but I had one small problem…I never drive by there when it is dark. So I was figuring I would have to make a special trip, but today I was driving home and noticed that the storm clouds had made the sky dark enough to kick on the lights…quick u-turn, little bit of shopping and some rain drops inside the car and I got this…
If you look close you can actually see some rain drops.
I am working on another assignment. I had to take pictures of a statue. The thing is I was having trouble finding a statue that I liked. Then a few days ago I was walking through the garden center at the big red box store and saw this guy. My first thought was “Oh he is great for this shot and he would look good in the yar….ONE HUNDRED FORTY NINE DOLLARS?!?! Fuck that!” So I went back to the store with my camera and sneaked off a few pics.
