I am still working on getting something to flow. I think this one is getting closer…regardless of how well it flows, I think I like it.
So how do you catch a rainbow when there isn’t one…you use a CD, well this is a DVD. I had read that you can put a mirror in a glass and shine a flashlight at it to produce one, but I couldn’t dig up a mirror that would fit in a glass. Anyway I think it is a neat trick.
The assignment is “flow”. My idea is a bit abstract.
So does this say “flow” to any of you?
I took a few pictures today that all turned out crappy. So I was sitting here watching TV and trying to think of something I could take a picture of…I leaned back and stared at the ceiling, cause that is what you are supposed to do when you are trying to be creative. Usually it doesn’t work for me, so I am not sure why I did it, but I noticed the lamp out of the corner of my eye and decided it looked kind of neat. So I snapped a few pics and came up with this…
I remember when I was kid we used to go out for dinner almost every Friday night and most of those nights we went to a local Mexican restaurant. To this day I would say that my favorite food genre is probably tex-mex type stuff. My current favorite place to get my tex-mex on is Chipotle. Another good thing for me is that Chipotle has a vegan friendly menu, which means that my whole family can eat there with a minimal amount of complaining.
Last Friday night they opened a new Chipotle in my hood. As we made our way over there that night I told the girls about our Friday night tradition of Mexican food. So tonight when I got home from work…”are we going to Chipotle?”
I picked up a new pair of glasses a few days ago and was thinking it might be neat to try to take a picture of them. I took a few shots early in the week but they were kind of meh. I just couldn’t find an interesting presentation. My idea from the beginning was to use a book somehow, but I just wasn’t able to make it work. So tonight I took another crack at it and think I got something that works pretty well…the things is I can’t tell if the shot is in focus…
So I decided to take another crack at the palm telling a story thing. I think this one is a bit more interesting.
I think all around flowers are a big hit around here. Most of my flowers have been brought to you courtesy of professional whores of culture or whatever they are called…you know the planty people. Anyway this one is from my backyard. Well I guess I can’t take too much credit it for it. I bought it a couple weeks ago and stuck it in a pot…and it was almost ready to bloom when I bought it. In fact I almost killed it a couple times cause I forgot to water it. Of course since I mostly bought it to take the picture and now I have the picture I can go forget to water it again.
I installed a big update to the blog software tonight, so this is something like a test post to make sure everything is working and stuff.
In other words…you are getting somewhat of a repeat on the pic.
