Ego…
Ego is an interesting thing…
I like to think that I don’t have much of an ego, but I have to admit that I do have one. But hell who doesn’t like to get a little stroking now and then…even humble people get a little pep in their step when get a compliment. The difference as I see it is the lengths that you will go to get your ego stroked…
In the web world your ego can be fed by a number…just a little innocent number that keeps track of how many people are looking at something on the web. Yes, I am talking about our friend the hit counter. Hits…everybody with any presence on the web is looking for that coveted hit. More hits equal more ego stroking. OK, sure hits are also serious business when you are talking business. Uhm…that didn’t come out quite right…let’s try this. If you have a site and want to make a little money from that site you need hits. If you have hits you can turn some of those into clicks and people will pay for clicks. Clicks? Oh yeah…when you put a link on your site and get one of your “hits” to click the link and you have a “click”. The more hits you have the more potential clicks you can generate. So if you have enough hits some people will even pay just to have your “hits” see their link. Shit I think I made it more confusing…I need to stop writing this shit right before I go to bed.
Where was I…oh yeah ego. So I have been feeling a bit needy tonight and I need to generate some hits so that I can feel like I am worthy or something. Well that and apparently I made a bet with crowd about whose ego is bigger or something…

Oh yeah I do have a point…check out these pics I took and tell me how much you like them. If you don’t like them, I don’t really give a fuck, just don’t tell me cause that is not going to help my ego and I will prolly just tell you that you are stupid and have bad taste or something anyway, so don’t bother.
Oh yeah and more importantly tell everyone you know to click on my blog…they don’t need to read it, cause a hit is a hit. ;)
