it’s something…

I always fight with myself about putting the pic at the top or at the bottom. There is little doubt that this one belongs at the top. I think this is the kind of pic where it is great for you to see it before the story.

Those of you from Orlando should recognize that this pic is Orange Ave. in downtown Orlando. I have never though of downtown Orlando as colorful, but this picture managed to capture some great color. So there isn’t a lot of color, but it is pretty good for boring old Otown. And I love the bricks in the building on the left side. Someone should take pictures of all the brick buildings downtown cause I am afraid they will not be around for too much longer. I read that even the weekly building is on the chopping block. To me that is one of the best buildings in Orlando…and they are going to rip it down and put up condos…yippee.

I would have taken some today, but I was just driving through. Yes…I literally took this picture while driving through downtown. I was stopped at a stop light and noticed that it was an interesting view so I grabbed my camera. By the time I got it turned on and the lens cap off the light had turned green. So I put the camera on the steering wheel hit the shutter release and hoped for a decent composition.

I think it came out pretty decent.
