So thinking about how I ended my post last night…
I decided to swing by the parking lot where the local osprey is building a nest. Luckily she, I assume it is the she, was standing on her nest. I drove around the parking lot snapping pics from a couple places trying to find the best view. I found a spot that gave me a pretty view of her and the nest. Unfortunately she was facing the wrong way so I started watching her through the camera and started snapping pics whenever she moved. She looked to the side a couple times, but it was the wrong side for a good look. Then she started cleaning or scratching under her wing or something, so I just held down the shutter and fired off a few pics. Then headed home.
When I got home I was pretty surprised when I looked through the pics and found one of her looking right into the camera. So here she is “Ghetto Osprey”.
Anyone want to photoshop a baby duck in her mouth?
