I think I have said this before, but sometimes I take pictures that I am not sure about. This is one of those pictures. I have seen this type of shot before, and found it interesting, but I can’t decide how I feel about my own. There is nothing really wrong with the pic and I don’t hate it…I guess I just don’t know if it is compelling.
Does it tell a story?
Does it make you feel anything?
Is a picture of some random shit laying on the beach art?
Florida’s coast is a rough place to be a mollusk. The waves, the parasites, the pounding of the surf, the salt, the sun, the millions of tiny particles of sand working against the grain of their shells…
Yeah. This picture makes me feel used up. Chewed up, found unnecessary, and spat out.
