powerful
I have mentioned before that I am not a fan of power lines “stinking up” my photos. So tonight I was out driving around in and undeveloped are of a new development and found what seemed to be an interesting shot. So I took a few shots then walked through the weeds to take some pictures of this pond I noticed. Those shots all kind of sucked because there were too many weeds and shit, but as I was walking back to the truck I noticed that the light behind the towers had changed and it actually looked really good, so I setup the tripod and grabbed some “proper” shots.
While I was “processing” the shots I thought I would try converting it to B&W. Now I don’t know which one I like better…

Wow…not sure which one I like better, either.

I like the colored one. No, that’s not a racist joke.

I kind of like the first one (color) as it is somewhat two tone but not just b/w.
Both are beautiful!

For some reason, not sure why, but I like the sepia look better on this one.

They’re excellent, but I prefer the b&w one for it’s starkness. That “whiteout” on the left, against the treeline? Awesome.

I do not like B&W photos, that being said, this photo in B&W is much more dramatic and mood setting than the color one. Exceptions are what keep the world interesting.
